Several prominent VK VHF/UHF/microwave amateurs attend the Ham Radio event in Friedrichshafen each year.
The 2017 event is occurring two weeks earlier than usual.
Therefore EZARC has decided to hold GippsTech 2017 on the first weekend in July. Start making your plans.

All sessions other than evening meals will be held at Federation University Australia, Mary Grant Bruce Drive, Churchill. Entry via building 4N.
Look for the reddish brick building with a small glass pyramid above the entrance. There is a link below to Google Maps.
Friday evening social gathering: Morwell Top Pub from 1800 to 2000 to order meals - pay your own way. Ask locals for discount vouchers.
Saturday Registration from 0830. First session at 0915. Federation University Australia, Churchill.

EZARC recently received notice of possible minibus transport from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) from Kevin VK4UH:
As on previous years I am bringing a party of VK4s to GippsTech. This year I have had sufficient interest to overfill my usual 12 seater minibus
I have been able to offer transport to others between Tullamarine and Morwell / Churchill to catch flights or travel on elsewhere on previous years.
I have seats between the airport and the conference on an equal cost share basis as before. It will be first come first served.
Anyone joining us would need to be at Tullamarine by 1:00 pm on Friday 30 June and we would have them back there by about 5:00pm on the Sunday.
