Here are the brief descriptions of the programs capabilities & uses.  Feel free to download.

          EME Calculator Version 7.04
 "EMECal.exe"

Small but significant changes have be made to this new generation version where, as a result of careful 'real world' measurements, the achieved values of dish efficiency have been refined. Spill over values, referenced to a 45 degree elevation, have similarly been adjusted.

The resultant changes provide a high degree of theoretical to achievable correlation and now approach practical measurement capabilities. My appreciation to Peter G3LTF for all his considerable
assistance and suggestions in this upgrade.

Those that use yagi arrays will still need to derive their own 'spillover', side lobes, and 'feed thru' ,front to back values commensurate with their own installation. The variables are just too large to provide a meaningful result but can be obtained from actual polar plots.

This revision also includes another VE4MA 'standard option feed' and now caters for both flush and 0.15L (normal) ring configurations.
In addition I have included a Planet 'reality check' calculation option for those that believe EVE is feasible from your back yard! A demonstration station file Venus-EVE.cal, based on known values of the Bochum Dish, has been included for your
interest. Integral Help file has been updated to reflect the changes.

Moon noise now included in calculation (may be disabled)
UTAS - PI9CAM uW cal file added.
Additional WSJT and common bandwidths preset selection
Version history may be viewed from program

Site & Radiation Calculator Ver 6.44
"EMRCalc.exe"

Based in Prague 2000 this software addresses RF Radiation issues.  It provides for the FCC, Council of  European Union (CEU) & Australian RF Safety Standards as well an adjustable option to suit your own National Standards.  Program covers 1.8 MHz  to 48 GHz for both circular & rectangular aperatures.  Selectable common antenna types are provided as well as variable input.  Height/distance/on axis calculations are provided in a graphic format.  A further graphical display of near & far circular aperatures is included in the package which may help you to convince your authorities that your station is safe for your neighbours. An extensive Help file is integral to the package.
Added ability to reduce EME level to 'proposed Eu values' and below.
Additional multiplier facility for rapid value change.

Transmission Line Calculator Ver 1.15
"ZCalc.exe"

Born from the frustration of building feeds with commercially available tube sizes!!! This program allows you to select the size of the inner or outer conductor or required impedance & calculate one of the parameters after selecting any of the other two.  Variable dielectric constant & metric/imperial conversion is included as well as multiple wave length calculations.  Circular - Circular, Square -Circular, parallel lines and Centered Strip Line
along with VSWR,  Coupler Directivity and Dish co-efficient calculations are provided.  Also included are quarter wave transition and coaxial length calculations.   A Help file is included in the package.

Four Pole Interdigital Filter Ver 1.67
"InterDigitalFilter.exe"

The original IDF program I wrote for DOS in 1985 has now been updated to run on Window operating systems.  Design criteria is based on an article by Ian White (G3SEK) in Radio Communications February 1984.  The program allows the design of a 4 pole interdigital filter from box depth, rod size, center frequency, 3dB point & 40dB point.  Most suitable for frequencies above 300 MHz as below this the size becomes some what impractical.  The program has a graphical display of all dimensions. Construction hints are provided.

EME 2009  Ver 1.49
"EME2009.exe"

(Windows version of VK3UMs famous DOS EME Planner and Autotrack … available at the end of this listing)

The Windows version of the old DOS versions of the VK3UM EME Planner and the VK3UM AutoTrack is now called EME2007 and is now available for those that have one of the 120+ boards "out there" or those that want to run the familiar old display screens and features. It has been a long time in coming as I was happy with my own version running my own dish. However as a result of so many requests, and with the help from Michel (HB9JAW) and  Peter (SM2CEW) that have beta tested this new version, I have decided to release it for those in need. The software has many "unique" additional features for Spatial and Real time Noise displays, an extensive data base, as well as the prediction planning features. All planet and selected quiet and noise source tracking is provided in this version so if you want to track Mars or Jupiter Noise this will do it for you.

It handles Pulse, Digital and Analog input and is compatible with the earlier DOS version.

It now incorporates the VK5DJ hardware. Refer http://vk5dj.mountgambier.org/Amateur_radio.html
Originally, the software would only run with the VK3UM tracking board (which is now no longer in production), however along with John VK5DJ board it also will  interface with Tom W2DRZ w2drz@madbbs.com interface board.

Finally be aware that the Doppler accuracy above 23cm. It may be not as accurate as required by some nor is the basic Noise data Base. There is no help file! Suggestions and bug reports are always welcome.
